New training equipment for 2015

I would like to say a really big THANK YOU to Mr Craig Dalton of Craig Dalton Snap-On Tools and Mr Gary Waudby of All-Gas Heating & Plumbing Services, for their very kind and generous Sponsorship of the Hull & East Riding Karate Academy.

The Sponsorship money will be put to very good use and will benefit every single member of the Hull and East Riding Karate Academy and especially those squad members who compete in competitions !!!

You will be getting FITTER, FASTER & STRONGER in 2015 with the dynamic new training equipment being purchased with the aid of the Sponsorship money, this will include FOCUS PADS, SKIPPING ROPES, REACTION BALLS & AGILITY LADDERS ready for the start of training in 2015. Plus I will also be getting some pull up Banners for when we have photos taken of medal winners.

I’m really looking forward to 2015 as we have got some real talent coming through in the Squad and I’m sure we will once again have some fantastic results in competitions.

Thanks again to Mr Gary Waudby and My Craig Dalton for your generosity. It is very much appreciated.

Text Box:

Aboudi Neema English Kata Champion

I would just like to give a special mention to 15yr old athlete Aboudi Neema (pictured in the centre below).

Aboudi trains with me at Sirius Academy in Hull and is the current ENGLISH disabled kata Champion !! a title he won in both 2012 & 2014 at the English Karate Championships in Sheffield.

On Sunday Aboudi will be competing in the Individual Kata at the Shindo kai National Championships, however he will also be competing in the Boys 14-15yrs Individual fighting and will also take his place alongside Morgan Clarke in the Boys 14-15 years team fighting!

What a COURAGEOUS & TALENTED young boy he is wanting to compete in these two categories against able bodied fighters!! believe me when I say "This is not an easy thing to do" so I take my hat off to this young fella for his SPIRIT & DETERMINATION of simply wanting to "GO OUT THERE AND GIVE IT A GO"

Aboudi, You are a true champion and you are showing TRUE KARATE SPIRIT, I am sure you will do Yourself, your family, your friends and the whole of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire PROUD when you step onto that fighting area on Sunday.

Enjoy the experience my friend.
